Creating Immersive Brand Experiences with Interactive Tangible Technology for ADNOC
By Elias | 21/05/2026

In September 2025, we had the opportunity to deliver a fully interactive tangible table experience for a private event hosted by ADNOC in Abu Dhabi — combining physical interaction, responsive technology, and immersive visual storytelling into one seamless installation.
The objective was simple: transform audience engagement into a memorable, hands-on experience that encourages participation while showcasing innovation in a visually impactful way.
A Physical Experience Powered by Digital Interaction
At the centre of the installation was a custom interactive tangible table featuring five uniquely designed physical tags, each representing a different topic or content category. Visitors could pick up and place a tag onto the interactive surface, instantly triggering a dedicated digital questionnaire linked to that specific topic. The interaction was designed to feel intuitive, tactile, and engaging — bridging the gap between physical objects and digital content. Rather than relying on conventional touchscreens alone, the experience encouraged users to actively explore the installation through movement and interaction, creating a stronger emotional connection with the content.
Smart Technology Meets Immersive Design
Once a participant completed the questionnaire, the system responded in real time with synchronized environmental effects, including:
- Dynamic LED strip lighting activation
- Responsive visual transitions
- Coordinated LED screen content
- Interactive feedback based on user participation
This synchronization transformed every interaction into a live moment of engagement, making visitors feel directly connected to the environment around them.
The combination of tangible interaction and reactive lighting created an atmosphere that was both futuristic and highly immersive — perfectly aligned with the innovative spirit of the event.

Engineering an Engaging Visitor Journey
The installation was carefully designed to manage both functionality and visitor flow. Every component — from the tag recognition system to the lighting synchronization — was optimized to deliver smooth, real-time responsiveness throughout the event.
Key features of the experience included:
- Interactive object recognition technology
- Custom-built questionnaire integration
- Real-time system automation
- Synchronized LED control systems
- Dynamic content triggering
- Seamless user interaction flow
The result was an experience that encouraged participation while creating a visually captivating centrepiece within the venue.
The Future of Event Engagement
Interactive technologies are reshaping how brands communicate with audiences during exhibitions, corporate activations, and private events. Experiences that combine physical interaction with intelligent digital responses create stronger engagement, longer visitor retention, and more memorable brand moments.
This project for ADNOC demonstrates how tangible technology can elevate event experiences beyond traditional displays — turning passive audiences into active participants.
As experiential technology continues to evolve, interactive installations like these are becoming powerful tools for storytelling, education, and brand engagement across corporate and public events alike. For brands looking to create immersive environments that captivate audiences and leave lasting impressions, tangible interaction systems offer a new dimension of experiential innovation.
