Immersive Innovation at the 27th ICOM General Conference 202
By Elias | 25/11/2025

The 27th ICOM General Conference 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 11–17, brought together global museum leaders to explore the future of cultural experiences. As part of this landmark event, we proudly introduced an immersive interactive technology installation designed to demonstrate how museums and institutions can elevate visitor engagement through next-generation digital environments.
Transforming a 12m x 6m Space Into a Fully Responsive Interactive Zone
Our team engineered an intelligent, sensor-driven environment that transformed a standard 12-meter by 6-meter room into a living, reactive digital space. The installation combined long-range sensors, real-time data processing, and custom interactive content to create an experience where movement, presence, and gestures directly shaped the visual narrative.
Visitors were not just spectators—they became active participants in the storytelling process.

Key Features of the Immersive System
1. Long-Range Motion Sensors
We integrated high-precision sensors capable of detecting movement across the entire room. These sensors tracked user positions and gestures, enabling seamless interaction without the need for controllers, wearables, or touchscreens.
2. Real-Time Content Response
Every step, wave, or directional shift triggered dynamic reactions in the digital environment. This included shifting landscapes, emerging visual elements, and adaptive animations that responded to the audience’s presence.
3. Multi-Person Interaction
The system supported multiple visitors at once, allowing collaborative exploration. Groups could influence the environment together, catalysing shared discovery and deeper engagement.
4. Scalable and Customizable Design
Our setup was developed to be fully modular—scalable for larger installations, adaptable for smaller spaces, and customizable for any museum, exhibition, brand activation, or educational experience.

Designed for Museums, Exhibitions, and Story-Driven Spaces
As institutions worldwide embrace immersive storytelling, this technology offers a pathway to captivating new audiences. Whether the goal is cultural interpretation, historical reconstruction, scientific visualization, or interactive learning, our sensor-based digital environments deliver an unmatched level of engagement.
